Director
FRANKLIN MARTIN
is a graduate of Hofstra University where he was four year
letterman on the Division I basketball team. Upon graduation, he went on
to coach at Tennessee State University where he also earned his Masters' Degree.
Martin began pursuing writing and acting full-time in 2001. As an actor he
has appeared on-stage throughout New York City. He has several film and
television credits, including multiple episodes on the Law & Order
series.
Martin lived in New Orleans as a child and was displaced by Hurricane Betsy
before moving to Tennessee. This lifelong connection with New Orleans led
Martin to make his first documentary, Hurricane Season: Walking on Dead
Fish, narrated and executive-produced by Terry Bradshaw.
The
success of Hurricane Season: Walking on Dead Fish inspired a
feature film entitled, Hurricane Season in association with
Universal Pictures. The film, produced by Franklin Martin, will be written
and directed by Billy Ray of 24 and State of Play.
Twenty percent of the profits from both the documentary and feature film will go
to the
Katrina Wildcat Scholarship Fund
to afford displaced players an opportunity to attend college.

Executive Producer and Narrator
TERRY BRADSHAW,
is a football LEGEND: Hall of Fame Quarterback, first-ever four-time Super Bowl
winner, and two-time Super Bowl MVP. But he has also built a career in
television and film, most notably in broadcasting where he co-hosts the
country's number one pre-game show, FOX NFL Sunday. On the big screen, he
recently co-starred in the Matthew McConaughey comedy, Failure to Launch.
But it is his personal connection
with Louisianna that drew him to join the production team for
Walking on Dead Fish. Bradshaw experienced the challenges of
displacement firsthand when his beloved home team, the New Orleans Saints were
forced to relocate to San Antonio, Texas after Katrina.
In a valiant attempt to prevent a
permanent move from Louisiana, Bradshaw joined with a team of investors to
purchase the Saints, but owner Tom Benson was unwilling to make the sale.
His efforts, nevertheless, brought the dilemma of losing the team to the
forefront of the NFL and helped keep the Saints where they belong—in
the city of New Orleans.
In addition to his many remarkable achievements in professional sports, Bradshaw
has written or co-written five books, recorded several country and gospel
albums, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
